Does anyone know if there are plans to have it...

As an Apple iOS 5 addict, I would be down for an app. I would be willing to drop a couple bucks, especially if they made a iPad app optimized for the new iPad retina display!!!

It seems to me they are simply changing their marketing model to a more efficient method. "We are hard at work on finding new ways to showcase Star Wars merchandise"

They intend to announce that each film will come with 3 different viewing options. The original theatrical release, the Special Editions, and the "May the Force be with You!" edition. :twisted:

Even worse, one of the other forums I frequent uses black and dark gray with white lettering. Switching between tabs of SSG and the other site just magnifies the problem.
