Oops, my bad. It looks like "you".
It's a blacked-out blur but I'm pretty sure it ruled.

Last week my sister and her boyfriend came down from Ohio, we went to the Zoo with the rest of the family but just three of us travelled a couple hours to OKC to visit the Bombing Memorial.

That was at the zoo, still waiting on more pics from there.

Got quite a few from the OKC Memorial though.

Each "seat" represents a victim that was in the building at the time, most at their jobs. Each row represents a floor and the large seats are for adult victims while the smaller seats are for child victims.

View from one end of the reflection pool, the pool replaces the street that the truck was parked on while the "seats" are where the building was. The entire wall behind the "seats" is all that's left of the building.

A small family of ducks that would walk from and to the reflection pool. Most people seemed to be more focused on the ducks, I found it rather profound. A thought crossed my mind- "In this place of death, new life shall flourish."

It was really peaceful at the memorial, especially when walking beside the reflection pool. The pool is only about a half inch deep and most likely a large fountain, the water dumps into it's own resevoir and is pumped back to the other end. So, it keeps a constant level with the stone surrounding making it look almost like a transparent tile floor.

I kept thinking it would make a really good setting for a deep thought/profound realization segment in a movie, mostly a Star Trek one. So, here's LT. Basker getting his picture taken at the memorial:

Those are incredible pictures, Basker. Indeed I also like looking at them and thinking deeply about things.

This is me from a wedding held during the first weekend in August. I am standing next to my twin in the right side picture, contemplating the trials and tribulations of marriage.

My new tattoo! Got it last Friday in Pismo Beach, California! At a place called Tiger Rose Tattoo! My friend Megan and I went on a road trip up the coast of Cali, all the way to Napa Valley for wine tasting and everywhere else in between. We had two plans only on this vacation...one, go up the coast and two, no matter what, get tattoos! We did both and it was the best road trip I've ever had!
