Our area is having another Big Read program, where a library or other community group chooses a book from the NEA's list, so the community can all read, discuss, and learn about it together. I was their Kick Off Event's Atticus Finch for To Kill a Mockingbird, so they asked me to be their detective Sam Spade for The Maltese Falcon this year.

I think a better caption would be (in your case, at least), "In the swamps of Naboo hunting the elusive "redeeming quality of the prequels".
It's a blacked-out blur but I'm pretty sure it ruled.

    I get that a lot.

Okay, how's this? "In the Swamps of Naboo fruitlessly searching for a plot that makes any sense."

Bel-Cam- failry accurate, tho you DO look a tad more "softboiled"

Wonder if "that kind of dame" walked in shortly thereafter
Something about him reminds me of my older brother, Rex.

I just returned from my trip to Gettysburg. It was my first visit, and will no doubt be one of several. I toured the battlefields, saw the downtown areas, and took in the museum. I got alot of good stuff, both just to have, and also to use in my history classes.
A bonus for me was I finally found a 3X5 Alamo flag that I had been trying to find at retail for quite some time.

On the way up I stopped at Manassas, Virginia...the site of the first battle between the 2 sides.

I included one pic of me here by a cannon...I love those cannon!!

Many of you on here are my friends on myspace...I have added pics from my trip on my page if you would like to see them.

Yeah, the Depression era boiled-ness is getting closer everyday, it seems. :770Dowdrop:

Well, it was at out local library, so she was "either a desheveled mother trying to corral her standard issue screaming, runny-nosed kids, or a dame trying to fit back into the university life she left years ago." (that's as good a narration in Hammitt's style I can come up with in the morning ) But in actuality, the "next" dame would've been the one taking the picture (a library employee).
