Proof of Purchase. They were the lil points back in the vintage days that you could send in for free stuff. Quite a few people back then, who actually kept stuff on the card still removed the POPs for mail-aways.

I ~still~ have a bunch of old POPs that I had been saving for free mail-away figures. Sure wish I had used them up back then

I have several vintage cardbacks that I saved. Some have no POP, since BACK THEN YOU ACTUALLY GOT MAIL-AWAY THINGS FOR THE POPS!!!! Oops. I yelled, too. Sorry.
