Not quite true. Hollywood hasn't presented anything original over the last year and a half, so rehashing the hate for yet another stale idea seemed a little redundant. According to box office reports, less people are seeing movies. Perhaps they are being pickier with their selections. I used to see a ton of movies, now I see maybe 3 a year at the most, and usually at least 1 of those is disappointing.
