Star Wars On ITV1

Does anyone know when Star Wars is actually going to be on ITV, they started to advertise it in May but now they've stopped.

The adverts said summer 2002, so I would assume September sometime. I hope.

What's the deal with seeing it on TV with advert breaks and interruptions? Isn't it better to watch the VCR's without the ad breaks and interruptions? Just seems daft to me.

I'm just interested to know, because I hope they make a real big deal of it, I imagine they'll show it on a Saturday night at about 7 and base the whole night around it, with documentary's and such.

On ITV1? not very likely. It's more likely to be midweek with no announcement and no fuss. The summer holidays are here and they'll simply put it on in the afternoon for kids. ITV1 are clueless. If it had been Channel 4 or 5 then you might have got something like a documentary or theme night around it. ITV1 sucks.

It will more than likely take the place of the James Bond films on a Wednesday evening @ 8pm. Adverts galore

Do you guys remember the HAsbro advert that ran at cinemas with the SE? The audience I saw it with found it by far the funniest thing of the night!

It starts like a film, then you get a cheesy voiceover as a kid 'flies' the falcon past the camera.

It had to be seen to be believed!
