Removing the Heads of 12" Figures

I need some advice on removing the heads of 12"
figures. I'm a good customizer of the 3 3/4 inch figures, but I want to expand into the 12" realm.
Does the boil and pop method work on the 12" as well? Any help would be great!

Yep, boil and pop works well on the heads of most of the 12" Star Wars figures. The head post is almost always identical to those used for GI Joe figures, so most of the heads can be swapped onto more articulated GI Joe bodies.
