These are some of my favorites that haven't been mentioned. I could easily put up Resivor Dogs (Buscemi and Roth), Deer Hunter (Walken and DeNiro), and others that everyone else is putting, but I thought I'd shake it up a bit.

    Peter Sellers – Dr. Strangelove
Clint Eastwood – this is a hard one- The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, Escape from Alcatraz, Kelly’s Heroes.
Marlon Brando – Island of Dr. Monroe or Apocalypse Now
    Robert Carlyle - Ravenous
    Steve Buscemi – Tres Lounge
Tim Roth – Four Rooms or Planet of The Apes (He did a great Job on POTA, even though the movie sucked)
Robert De Niro – Meet the Parents and Heat
    Christopher Walken – Brainscan
    Gary Oldman – The Professional
Sean Penn – Fast Times at Ridgemont High or Colors
Morgan Freeman – Lean on Me
Samuel L. Jackson – Duh.. Star Wars ATOC( or maybe Jackie Brown)

I'm a little strange because I think there were some great performances by some of these, maybe not the best, but my favorites

Steve Buscemi- loved the relunctant genius in Armagedon
Tim Roth-the Thief, the Cook, the Wife, and her lover
Christopher Walken-Prophecy but really neat as an angel in Madonna's "Bad Girl" video.
    Samuel L. Jackson-187
Gary Oldman-I hated him (in a good way) as the bad guy in Air Force 1.

    Just some of them.
