Hmmm, I'd add a set of 2 STAPS with 2 Battle Droids, Jar Jar, Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon

A Rancor would be GREAT, I think they could shrink him down enough and make him really cute. A Gammorean would be wonderful, and the Luke would be a given.

Tycho, aren't you close enough to busting your budget as it is? Do you really want to not only add another SW series, but expand it by so much?

I thought I spend way too much on toys!

Oh I know! I do spend way too much.

1) I buy for dioramas for my 3 3/4" collection. Though not a completist, I'm am army builder - so it's much worse. Vehicles - I'm a "fleet builder" there. That's expensive enough on it's own.

2) I love the 12 inch line and I open them and do character scenes which means for those that always look the same, I bought 3 Anakins, 3 Obi-Wans, 2 Ultimate Jangos, not to mention I own 4 Luke Jedi's, 2 Landos, 4 fourteen inch Darth Vaders, etc. etc. - I do NOT army build with 12" figures, but resigned to buying 4 BattleDroids, 6 CloneTroopers (2 each of the Cmdr / Capt), and I got 2 SuperBattle Droids...well, you get the picture.

3) I totally worship the Unleashed line. I never collected Epic Force, but the Unleashed is so much better! I couldn't resist them! I just get 1 of each.

4) The PLAYSKOOL line (BACK ON TOPIC) is just too cute to resist. You can't pose them, and you can't do dioramas with them (well, I don't even want to THINK of the possibilities there) so I can finally get something that won't lose its parts if I just throw them in a big bag and take 'em out when I feel like playing with them. Today I took them for "show and tell" at my local comic book store. Everyone liked them. It was the right audience. As for the rest, they display great (the figures) in my window sill, and they won't lose their parts if they fall, etc. They are not in direct sunlight, but I'm slightly concerned if their paint will heat too much and peel. It's an experiment and I'll replace these sets if that happens. Unfortunately, there's no place to display my ships, but perhaps at some point, I can put a whole lot of them on display together. As it stands, no where else in my collection can you see a Naboo Fighter next to an X-wing and (if I had one, a TaunTaun and Wampa). They're just nice because they're cute and easy to take care of. So I couldn't resist them and I'd buy one of each if they were to make it and entire line in proportions similar to the 3 3/4" line's size and scope.

I don't think the Unleashed Line will get too big and cause me my Star Wars financial problems.

I also see that the 3 3/4" line will cause me less trouble in a non-movie year:

I don't need another TIE Bomber.
I'm not inclined to replace or buy any new TIE Fighter (unless it's the same size)
I don't need Hoth Han or Chewbacca.
I won't need any Qui-Gon or Maul figures they produce.
I might skip that Mace Windu.
- and so forth.

I really think the Playskool stuff is practical and cute.

I don't collect Legos or MicroMachines, though some of you love these toys.
