Picked up the 4 new Evolution sets (Jedi/Sith/Fett/Legacy & Vader's App) at Zellers in Saint John tonight. My fav of the bunch is Mandalore, he rocks big time. (didn't think much of him till I opened him) The rest are pretty good as well, Bane is awesome & so is shirtless Maul. The Jedi pack is decent, & it's finally good to have a S.A. QQJ. The only figure of the bunch that is lacking is the Jedi from the Vader's App pack. He has swivel elbow joints & the rest have ball socket ones. (The figure would have rocked if it were the same as the others) $135.00 dollars later & I'm still feeling good.

TRU north of Toronto just got a LOAD of new cases in apparently - waves 7, 7.5 and 8 on US cards (which, believe it or not, means EVERY basic figure from 2007 was available at regular retail in Canada - the first time in 10 years this has happened) along with waves 1, 1.5 and 1.75. These cases include different repacks from last year with stands instead of figures, from what my friend is telling me.

I'm so shocked I'll say it again - what great news for Canadian collectors - we got every figure for 2007!!!

So I go to our TRU - and NOTHING. No wave 6. No wave 7. No wave 7.5 No wave 8. Just boxes and boxes of LEGENDS. (TC-14 wave).

UGH.

But you can cross the Legends Green Trooper. They had many of those.

ps - Has wave 6 been spotted at retail? That's the only wave I haven't heard any reports about.

Oh - you should also cross off the 2008 wave 1 figs.

I can do that. I haven't seen many reports of wave 6, but I'm sure there was at least 2 back on the CDN site. I'll try to firm that up again today (exactly what and where).
