That is so weird! Why would they use a non-iridescent paint for just that one part? Is the iridescent quality an overspray instead of being mixed into the main paint color?

Thrawn has another pic of this error in the picture archives, so it seems to be a relatively "common" error. I'd say it's more logical that it's an overspray...would be easy to miss certain areas.

I have another "paint error", this time of the Bespin Guard. They completely omitted the gold braid on half of the jacket.

I've been keeping my eye on the Duros variant at local shows, but to no avail...I don't think it's that common!

I stopped by a local KB Toys this past weekend and they had 4 Duros and none sported this error.

I checked just in case there was one... since I read this about a month ago. So, I dunno if this is very common.

I guess "common" was the wrong word to use It's just that this error seems not to be a "one of a kind" deal, but I guess "common" is too strong of a word. Sorry

I think what warrants more attention than the error, is the fact that a KB toys actually hd some new figures in!
