Mace Windu Deluxe..error or variant?

About two months ago I was in my local Wal-Mart and was looking at the Mace windu deluxes. I owned one already but this one had no peg-holes in the feet. I bought it thinking it was an error. I have not seen another like it in the stores or E-bay. Is it an error or variant and is it that much rarer? I would include a pic but my cam is trash.

The first ones that were released, didn't have pegholes in the feet, the later ones did. It's just a small change so that you could place the figure on a stand. They are pretty commen, and don't appear to command anything above the regular version on the secondary market.

I have a little information on THIS "incomplete" page, although no pics yet of the holes in the bottom of the feet. There were several other differences in the deluxe Mace, like the darker and lighter skinned Mace and the lightsaber "ties".
