Well, TIME has announced it's "Person(s) of the Year for 2002:

Now, why is it, for two years in a row now, they've made the wrong decisions? Last year the Person of the Year, the person who impacted the World the most (bad or good) was Rudy Giuliani?
Don't get me wrong, the man showed incredible leadership in New York, but everyone in their right mind knows the person of the Year should have ben Osama Bin Laden. No one affected the world moreso than the madman. Second place, obviously, would have been GWB.
Now, in 2002, when the honour should have actually gone to GWB (with Hussein coming a close second) they choose three women who, while exposing corruption in the US, had little impact on the world stage. By this Logic, the maryland snipers could have been given the distinction.
My query is: why is TIME afraid suddenly to make the right decisions. This is the same magazine that Gave the person of the year to Hitler, and twice to Stalin........what are they afraid of?
