    I like the Luke/R2D2 diorama. Did you do some modifying to Luke's head? He doesn't look beat up. Could just be the angle I suppose.

    My only criticism-- Luke's saber should dangle.

    Keen eye to spot Luke's head which I did a minor paint job to remove the bloody marks on his face. I'll see what I can do with the lightsaber for the final pics.

    Updated!

    Thanks all for the compliments! I've made some changes to the First version and here's the Final version.

    Can you spot the changes? For a better look at both, check back the Sneak preview.

    Has it been that long?
    That you'll just have to wait and see.

    well since the lightsaber thing was mentioned here and FX-7 on RS, it isn't really hard to guess or did you change anything else besides that? anyway, it looks a bit better now, but I still want more pics

    Lightbulb

    Here's why the changes were done;

    1) FX-7 top was removed because it was detracting from the scene since it's too familiar to actually see it and say it it is something else different.

    2) The lightsaber was repositioned courtesy of the comments from jblodgett.

    3) R2D2's head was enhanced.

    4) The mist in the background using the cobweb stuff for halloween was added.

    5) Luke's right hand holding a tool was reposed.

    6) The background was also changed. Notice that in the first version that it was all black. In the final version you could make out from the shadows the misty background.

    7) Lighting was removed from the top. In the first version, Luke's hair and the cases were more visible which showed the direction of where the lighting was.

    8) Last but not the least and this is what actually made me decide to reshoot was the lighting up front. Though I used Photoshop for the lamp, in the first version the lamp cast a shadow on R2D2's body! Duh!

    That's all and please post your comments on the completed diorama in this thread.
