has to be your favorite song.......

If you are a big episode 1 fan or just a Star Wars fan, your favorite song has to be Weird Al's THE SAGA BEGINS. That is a cool song and it is set to the tune of American Pie. Let me know what you think!! Personally, I really love that song. Thanks---Brian
One way to out think people is to make them think you think they'll think what you are not really trying to get them to think what you think.

I think I prefer the Star Wars Cantina Song better though .

I think that "The Saga Begins" is the best TPM parody song, yes.

I believe the best line is something like "Fought Darth Maul, but now he's toast." Brilliant!
'It is always nice to see you, says the Besalisk at the counter... And instead I pour blue milk...' From "Dex's Diner" by Su-San Vega

The best TPM parody, yes. The best Star Wars parody? Yoda (to the tune of Lola) still takes the prize!

"And that jedi master that I love the most,
met up with Darth Maul, and now he's toast"

    "I'm still here, now he's a ghost
    so I guess I'll train this...boy"

"Singin' My, my this here anakin guy,
    maybe Vader some day later,
now he's just a small fry"

"He left his home, and kissed his mommy goodbye,
Saying soon I'm gonna be a jedi".

I love the entire song, but my favorite parts are:

"But their response, it didn't thrill us
They locked the doors and tried to kill us
    We escaped from that gas
And met Jar Jar and Boss Nass"

"Did you know this junkyard slave
Isn't even old enough to shave
But he can use the force, they say
And do you see him hitting on the Queen
Though he's just nine and she's fourteen
He's probably gonna marry her someday"

    "They interviewed the kid
    Oh, but training they forbid
Cause Yoda sensed in him much fear
And Qui-Gon said, 'Just listen here
Stick it in your pointy ear
I still will train this boy'"

    Weird Al is a master.

I didn't realize weird al liked star wars so much. He had to like it to write such a great song about the saga!! right? I'm sure he's a fan.

Yes that is a funny song...but I prefer the Star Wars Cantina song better though!

Her name was Leia...she was a princess...with a danish on each ear and Darth Vader drawing near....so R2D2...

    I love it!
"The darkside of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be...unnatural"

"Join me... and together we can rule the galaxy as father and son"

What is amazing about AL is that the ENTIRE story of the movie is told in that song. I can't wait till his new album comes out!!!!!
No matter how I die, even if there is a suicide note; it was murder. Cheers!
    MWHAHAHAHA!
