Man, I was so hoping for this to be an Ewoks movie question.
A lot of unrelated languages on Earth use the "no" sound (or something very similar to it) to mean the same thing. Ewokese was based on one or two actual languages. I forget which, but the appendix to the Intergalactic Phrase Book tells how Ben Burrt came up with that (and many other) SW languages.
