When they first put out the beta sign up. I have tried it and it is pretty killer a little buggy and the server comes down a lot but other than that it's cool. Without breaking the NDA i will say the starter ship pending on what profession you choose sucks

I still haven't even played it. I am trying to grind so I can get jedi, and more importantly that second slot...

What so you can get shipwright. Which is an ok profession a bit tedious to much grinding I think. Way cool parts though

Yeah, my second character is going to be a crafter, just so I can do something different in the game. Killing stuff gets old. The next character is going to be:

Master Shipwright
Master Artisan
Master Armorsmith
Merchant - Additional merchants branch

I might do Master Droid Engineer instead of Armorsmith, so I can have a one stop shop for Spaceships...but Armorsmith seems pretty cool.

Jim, have you been playing lately? Noone from the boards is ever on when I am on.

I've been playing on and off.

I tried a beta weeks ago, but haven't since. Too buggy and lagged the crap out of my laptop (p4 2.8ghz, ATI Radeon 9700 mobile 128mb, 512mb ram). The 512mb ram is what kills me. But even worse is that the lag I got in JTL Beta was noticably worse than the regular game. Not a good sign.

I am running 768 no problem with jtl. I have mostly been on beta checking it out. I must say without the character builders I may find myself a bit spoiled. I usually alternate however I definately won't be til around 5 pm starting next week as i just got a new job at AOL
