    Question SW Micromachine Question

Full of questions recently! Ok. Can someone tell me what ships were in the Epic Collection set titled 'Jedi Search'?

I've got the 'Heir to the empire' and 'Truce at bakura' on my way and I was wondering what was in this other set.
I seem to remember looking on britcits site and seeing an MM of the Mon Remonda (spelling?), this was in an Epic collection wasn't it? Was it in the jedi search one? And does anyone have a complete list of the Epic collections that were released?

Regards as always. If anyone wonders, I've started a campaign to restock my SW MM's. I traded a great deal of mine with a friend in order to obtain ST ones many years ago and now I miss them!

Ok, managed to find out that the Jedi Search contained the Sun crusher and the Z-95 head hunter fighter.

I'm guessing the one with the Mon Remonda will be VERY rare then.

the last three epic collections (IV, V, and VI) are unfortunately extremly rare to come across.

several forummers here, have had amazing luck in the past of acquiring these on ebay for not to much money, but that is the exception, not the norm.

when they do show up, they go for approximately $65.00 each (sometimes more)

sets IV - VI were only available directly from galoob, via the long now defunct web site, and for a very limited time i might add.

sets I-III were over produced and hung around stores as peg warmers back in 97 and 98, which explains why sets IV-VI were not fully released.

i received my IV-VI through a most generous trade with jeddah some time ago.

indeed, with the advent of the uber-vultures and their bid-sniper programs, you can be pretty much assured to lose nearly every desirable MM/AF item on eBay unless you bid about $10 over the reasonable aftermarket high-end worth of the item.

example: EP1 Series Alphas - you can be sure that one or two "regulars" who snipe/resell will come in with a pre-programmed bid in the last 30 - 20 seconds of the auction for around $50 on these, so unless you're willing to bid about $60 minimum you'll usually lose the auction. And that's for the less hard-to-find ones. The hotter ones can go even higher.

I'm pro-capitalism, but some folks really test my resolve with their shabby, shameless profiteering.

Just think, when the MM aftermarket starts to slow, these clowns will have completely wasted their money. Their own actions will eventually be their downfall!

The use of a lightsaber does not make one a Jedi, it is the ability to not use it.

Thanks for the info, I went ahead and got them as they are interesting and weren't very much money really. While I'd like one of the rarer sets (namely for the Mon Remonda), I'm not paying silling prices for one, they are nice but not that nice
