Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis? They can have sucktastic Ed Norton as Fill-In TamponBoy, or recycle some Arwen figures to make Silly Replacement Betty. Dude, I cannot wait to not buy these!

Saw Juggy, Phoenix, Quicksilver, Thor and that black/yellow guy today. Have to admit, they're not nearly as terrible looking as wave 1 though I would've definitely grabbed Juggy if his body hair looked better. It looks like he got pranked by Pyro.

Phoenix looked very tempting as well, much better in person than in picture but I don't think I'll ever get her, the turn-your-head-and-cough hand just ruins the whole "image."

Thor was pretty nice looking too, not sure if I'll get him.

Quicksilver and the Black/yellow guy don't really interest me, but they were good enough quality that if they came with a BAF I was interested in I wouldn't mind having to get them.

I think I'll definitely get Juggy though.

Also, I saw some restocking of the Spider-Man 3 figures and included was a completely black Venom. It looked like it was posed in the packaging exactly the same as one of the previous purple Venoms so maybe they decided to go ahead and make a variant. I believe this one is truly black, it looked much darker than the Limited Edition Venom.

That's a negative. I heard from an other collector that the variant cases are now cancelled, but I haven't heard/read anything official. However, that would account for the lack of them on the pegs and even on e-bay.

Pics of the 6" ML Spider-Man Movie series are up now on Cooltoyreview.

Unfortunatly, even though I think ML 1 wasn't bad and ML 2 was great... these arn't that great looking. Hopefully these turn out to be early prototypes. Since a few tweaks could make them look much better. The two Spider-Man and New Goblin figures are pretty good though. And the Green Goblin, Doc Ock, and Mary Jane are fairly decent. Honestly, Sandman and Venom are probably the two worst figures of the bunch. Sadly.

OH man, those look HOOOOOOOOOOOOORRIBLE. Seriously, they are just horrific. I'll pick up MJ just for kicks and........that's about it. And that Sandman BAF?!!?? Awful; give me one that's HUGE like the scene with the truck or the final fight. That just looks shady.

Yeah, MJ isn't bad. All she needs is a little lipstick. But yeah, not impressed.

However if they would have done these instead of the 5" line, they'd be a huge improvement.

Pretty terrible. I had my doubts when the BAF was announced. I couldn't imagine how they could make it work, and they didnt.

I will pick up MJ only because she is probably the closest we are going to get to a comic accurate version.

Thanks for the links Beast, even if it is to RS-for-everything-else.

Regular Sandman is really skinny and lanky, what happened? Still, looks just like Thomas Hayden Church.

Venom looks surprisingly bad, I was NOT expecting it. Proportions are all off and paint looks wrong and I've never seen a Venom tongue-spewing head before that looked bored.

New Goblin looks lanky as well, and seems way more boring than the 5" version.

MJ looks kinda like a Hobbit, so yeah, that's accurate. Not sure why she dunked her hair in dayglo orange tho'.

Spidey - man, what did they DO to you?!? That mold looked snazzy when Toy Biz released it for SM2 but here the paint is a complete failure and ruins the fig. Plus, it looks like Hasbro's new pin style for the elbows and knees is an ugly mistake.

Symbiote Spidey - holy crap does that not work at all! There's something about it that makes it look like one of those cardboard skeletons they put up in municipal buildings at Halloween. And who do we "thank" for taking nearly all the major joints out of the upper arm?

Green Goblin, once again the Hasbro deco has hampered a decent fig. How can they get the 5" one so right and this 6" version so wrong?

Doc Ock is in the same boat except he never looked particularly good.

BAF Sandman is horrid, Hasbro shouldn't bother producing this at all, it's a waste of petroleum, and their time could be better spent standing in the corner not talking.
