Wasn't sure if this was brought up or is common knowledge... there is a Darth Vader grotesque (like a gargoyle) on the northwest tower of National Cathedral. Here's a link!

I've always wanted to go and take a look but the placement of the gargoyle and its size would make it nearly impossible to really see. Perhaps a really powerful set of binoculars would be needed.

Yeah... Judging from the pictures... you would DEFINITELY need a srong pair of specs to see it...

I went to see the WNC around the time it was completed and thought it was beautiful. Maybe next time I'm down there I might have to go check this out. I was going to plan a trip down to see the new Air and Space Annex that opened.
