Well, I hated the 4-hour mini-series from last month, but it got really good ratings and a few decent reviews, so it looks like it's gonna go weekly after all.Originally Posted by CINESCAPE Online

Well, I liked it. I am glad it will be picked up. We need more of these types of shows. IMO
Though, truth be told, I wasn't really a big fan of the original series.
Maybe Sci-Fi can make up for killing Farscape too soon.

So, all indications appear to be that the series will be given a tentative try-out, with more episodes ordered if the first six do well in the ratings.Originally Posted by CINESCAPE Online

Sweet, I really liked the mini series. I hope this is picked up for at least a few seasons. I just hope they don't put it up against Enterprise and kill both shows though.
Why not. It certainly couldn't be worse than all those crummy animal mutant horror movies like Alligator 2: Electric Boogaloo that SciFi keeps showing.

I've got a bad feeling about this!Originally Posted by Cinescape Online

Bad as in: Why no release date? It could be months before we see anything.
or
Bad as in: This series is gonna suck eggs?
I guess, I am one of the few people looking forward to this new series. Though, I may have to go back and watch the old series now, to sorta understand the whole 'Pegasus' episode and what is the 'Shipo of Lights'? Anyway, too cool.![]()

I think the Ship of Lights they were referring to is the episode where they meet some guy who turns out to be the Imperious Leader (at least he has the same voice). He's played by the guy from the old Avengers TV show, Patrick something or other. There's a part where all these UFO fly around and scare the hell out of the old guy and they save Apollo and Starbuck from him at the end...or something like that. It's been awhile since I've seen it, though.Originally Posted by sith_killer_99

Glad the show option got picked up!!!!
Were there only 22 shows in the original series?I'm going to sit down and watch all 22 of them again, kind of go through it.
Hopefully the new series will last longer than that.
