Well after 215,000 applicants, and 16 members chosen for the series, two remain after tonight's episode.

In another shocker, Amy got the boot, and so did Nick. I strongly disagree with that choice, especially considering that Kwame was in the boardroom a jazillion times (and I would have fired him each time and not thought anything of it) after his teams failed and Amy only once.

Amy didn't interview well according to Donald's confidants, and that spelled her doom. I would have cut her some slack since those 4 interviewers didn't see much, if any of her, while she was in action.

Nick was way overdue and they pegged him right as saying that he was a seller and nothing else.

Amy and Troy would have been my final two choices but instead it is Kwame and Bill. They teased us a little by showing the beginning of the final competition in where Kwame has to manage a concert by Jessica Simpson and where Bill has to stage a golf tournament. The winner will eventually lead Mr. Trump to his "Apprentice."

I would root for Bill at this choice, but honestly, wouldn't care if Kwame wins it, as both are overall nice, good individuals with character. It just seems to me that Kwame lacks leadership skills, but is a good second banana.

Caeser, since you and I are the only afficianados to comment so far on the show, what do you think?

I was over at my girls house tonight and she watches it, so I did too. Only going by the intereviews that I saw, I agree with the choices that were made, especially Nick.

Then we get to the Jessica Simpson concert, and I'm just wondering what that girl is doing? (I don't remember her name, it's a little unusual) It's too bad that Kwame can't fire her, she deserves it, especially after lying to her team. The other guy on Kwame's team, Troy?, seems really good.

LBC, I think Trump made the right cuts. We agree on Nick and I said awhile ago that I thought Amy was overrated.

Out of those remaining 4 people, I think they would all be great hires for some company. They all wouldn't be able to run it but they are still good people.

I agree that Kwame is probably not the leader that Trump needs but I can't help but think of his education and how much Trump must love the fact that he works for Goldman-Sachs ? That doesn't mean that he'll get the job but at least he's a stable candidate unlike some of the earlier ones who got axed.

Should Kwame win ?
I don't think so - not against Bill. I think Bill is in a prime position to win it all . . . he's got a good education which is grounding and I think Trump has to be impressed with Bill and his entrepeneurship.

Kwame is a smart guy, very grounded and "safe" which is what helped him stay around for so long and Bill is a smart guy who has experience in running his own business which i think has/will impress upon Trump.

Omarosa is a lying ****.

Not quite sure how I missed this thread but I figured I'd chime in since I've been watching this show regularly. First off how friggin annoying is Omarosa? That woman is pure evil as far as I'm concerned and after last weeks episode I'd be surprised if anyone would be willing to hire her for even the simplest of jobs. I'd feel sorry for Kwame if he hadn't picked her second when chosing their team members. I had a feeling Bill was going to be the show's winner after seeing how he handled the restaurant mission so I'm sticking with him for the finale. Kwame seems like a nice guy but if he does indeed have the leadership abilities Trump is looking for he hasn't shown them here.

So now that seasons 2 and 3 have been greenlit do you think the prize will remain the same and is Trump going to let 2 more of his companies be run by contestant winners?

Don't forget the finale is 2 hrs long Thursday.

I assume the prize will remain the same for season one or two, a paid internship for one year, working for Donald Trump (not sure if it will be running one of his companies or not). After that year is over, that person will be reevaluated and it will be determined whether or not that person stays with "The Don" for good.

Speaking of Omarosa, there was apparently a report on NBC last Friday in where an investigative reporter uncovered a few skeletons in her closet. It has been known that she was an intern in the White House under Clinton (scary enough ) but apparently she was fired and reassigned to 4 different posts during her tenure for incompetence. No company in their right mind should hire her after watching the show.

I also heard a rumor at least 4 weeks ago, stating that Kwame would win the whole thing. Apparently, a night club owner in Miami made the claim after a few castmembers partied there. It was quickly dismissed, but ever since then, I've been wondering if it is really true. I say no, because apparently, the decision has yet not been made.

Caesar, did you see Donald admonish George for interrupting during last week's show? I thought there was no reason for Trump do that, and thought it was staged.

Well, Nick was trying to skirt around the question and since George doesn't seem to like him too much, it felt as if he was trying to butt in to get Nick back on track. That's when Trump took charge. Staged ? Very well could be . . . sometimes when Trump talks during the boradroom, it feels like a voiceover. Speaking of the boardroom, I read that the specific room was a mockup just for this show. Not a previously used boardroom, so to speak.

Hey, don't forget about the Dateline show on Wednesday ! ! !

And how about these reports of some of the ladies doing a photo shoot for FHM ? I know I'll sound picky here but I think Katrina is the hottest of the four I heard mention of. Playboy made an offer but the women turned them down.

I watched the Dateline show and it was alright. I think they perfectly highlighted the real issue here:

Will Trump pick the guy who is most like Trump in terms of entrepeneurship (Bill) ?

or

Will he pick the guy most likely to be a good apprentice as in a loyal underling to Trump (Kwame) ?

Yesterday Erika, Katrina, and Kristy were on the Howard Stern radio show to promote their FHM appearances and the season finale of The Apprentice. It was pretty entertaining and Howard asked all sorts of interesting questions as usual.

Apparently, for whatever reason, Omarosa decided to play the race card recently and has been saying that Erika used the "N word" when referencing her. So Howard offered her a chance to clear her name by taking a lie detector test and as I'm sure you can imagine they asked her all sorts of personal questions as well. My favorite was "Do you enjoy the smell of your own farts?" She anwsered "no" of course but it turns out she lied.

The whole thing was really hilarious and because the finale is on tonight yesterday's appearance will air on Howard's E show this evening as well. Check it out if you're interested.

Well the finale was tonight and I was very pleased at how it turned out. The final match pitted Bill vs. Kwame and each had to showcase their smarts by performing a difficult task. Bill's was operating a charity golf tournament and Kwame's was running a Jessica Simpson concert at Trump's Casino in Atlantic City.

Bill turned out to be a little frenzied with his handling of things, double and triple checking everything to make sure things were going smooth. This got on the nerve of a lot the partners, namely Katrina and Amy who thought that Bill couldn't trust them to handle the tasks they were given. He was also running things at a frantic pace and appeared to be a little edgy at times.

Kwame was the opposite, very laid back, and letting his subordinates handle important things without constantly checking up on things. This was his ultimate downfall, as certain events that were scheduled, didn't go off on time because of some glitches. He appeared aloof at times, and not in charge which hurt him.

At the end, both events went off without any major hitches and Bill and Kwame both displayed excellent working qualities, but Bill ultimately, did a better job at handling pressure and thinking on his feet, which helped his cause.

I agree with Donald's decision and it was nice to see the cast reunited at the end.

I like how he was given a choice to pick which project he would like to oversee.

The post-interview with the castmembers was a little awkward with Omarosa and Ereka having to answer sensitive questions to an alleged incident, as Hellboy mentioned, that supposedly happened during the show's run. The romance issue between Nick and Amy was also put to rest as they did engage in a breif fling, but nothing serious ever became of it. Trump made a nice little witty crack about that relationship.

BTW, I did see a bit of the Howard Stern interview with Kristie, Ereka and Katrina on E! tonight in where Ereka was put through a lie detector about the incidents (she came out clean). And let me say that anyone of those chicks would have made a great Playboy cover!

It was a great run of 13 weeks, and the show picked up a lot of steam down the stretch (I missed only the first episode). The Apprentice 2 will premier soon and will involve a little more competition (according to the promos) however will see if it can top the original.
