Wrong legs R2D2 How do you tell?

I am sure this has been covered already I looked throught the first 5 pages and didn't see it and as you folks know the search is down. But anyways my question is I bought this R2D2 with the wrong legs and I was wondering how you tell if they really are the wrong legs. They look liike r2 legs to me but I have n't ever seen the one with the "right" legs so I can't say for sure. Any tips would be great.

Well first you could start out by telling us what sort of R2 you bought with the possible incorrect legs. Was it a 3 3/4 inch figure? A 12" figure? A bank? A, well you get the idea. I bought an R2 bank at Suncoast videos stores with both the legs on backwards. Even the photo on the box shows the legs not installed correctly, no wonder the folks who assembled them got it all wrong. You might do a search for R2 reference pictures over the net to compare the photos, next to whatever R2 you have.

If it's the R2 flight figure with a string that runs through his body, well that figure is just ugly and completely wrong anyway.

3 3/4 in. coruscant sentry. I am gonna try to search on google I didn't even think about that. I know I saw someone somewhere talking about this error. It is a really cool figure regardless.

The first version has pegs for where the legs attach to the body. They are flat and silver in color. The corrected legs, have a 'fanlike' look to them.
