I think these "neo-vintage" figures will probably drive the prices of the actual vintage figures up at first, then significantly down in the long run.

Similar to what happens to the rerelease of the vehicles. Just before the new versions show up on the shelves in mass numbers, the value of the vintage version goes up slightly because collectors are hyped about the new release and want to buy the original version while they wait. Eventually though the prices of the original toy will go down as the market is flooded with cheaper versions of the same toy.

This may not prove true since these are all new sculpts, but people who didn't grow up with the vintage line will most likely have a hard time getting excited about obviously inferior toys. Thus demand and then price will drop significantly.

Great news for those of us who want to get carded versions of the vintage line.
