THX 1138...A sign of things to come??

This is GL's first film (as well all know)..but this little site (http://www.davisdvd.com/bin/extras3.html) has some interesting comparisons to the original film.

In my opionion some are good improvement (hey the movie was made in the early 70's give em a break).

But do you think this will be a sampling of the DVD "tweaks" that will be done in the OT DVD due out right around the same time?

Hmm, who knows? I kind of think that it might be, and given what I see on that site, I hope they turn out as good.

I'll wait and see when it comes out, but I may have to take back a bit of what I said in this thread...

...because, I'm honestly impressed with what I'm seeing. I still think that I'd rather he (Lucas) spent his time working on an all new film idea, rather than modify this old one. I also really think that releasing the original theater version is important, but these additions and changes seem to keep very closely to the look and feel of the original film. (For the most part.)

As far as Star Wars goes, I guess we can only cross our fingers.
