Changes in ANH while in original theatrical release?

I know this has probably been discussed in detail here before but was wondering if some one can put my mind at ease...

When I first saw ANH in theaters in 1977/78 and again in 1980, I recall noticing some small changes in the pilot navigation screens in the trench battle scene, as well as a few other small changes. Did this really happen or is my mind making it up?

Please help put my mind at ease (and maybe win a few $$ too )

I don't think so, I believe the changes were the "Episode IV A NEW HOPE" and I think some prints had a different voice for Aunt Beru, but that's all I've ever heard of.
Darth Vader is becoming the Mickey Mouse of Star Wars.

The use of a lightsaber does not make one a Jedi, it is the ability to not use it.

there were two different mixes. Some of the prints featured the "Close the blast doors!"/"Open the blast doors" lines that were recently restored. Some did not. I don't think the original VHS versions have that. There were some sound and dialogue differences, but nothing worth noting. Visually, the prints are reported to have been identical.
