Your Favorite Films with the Stars of Star Wars!

It's hard to imagine any other actors playing the Star Wars characters we've grown to love, but what about the other movies they've made? Do you have any favorite films with the stars of Star Wars?

'Course, this could be a very short list for obvious reasons With the exception of that Han Solo fella, Harrison-something-or-other, none of the actors really have made it big. But here is my list:

Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker): I did see his stinker Corvette Summer and Time Runner, but he's probably best known for his voice work in animated series like Batman. He does a great Joker.

Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia): One of my favorite films is The 'Burbs, a comedy about surburbia and the strange new family that moves in next door. Carrie plays Tom Hanks' surburban housewife in the film, and she still exudes a shapely sexy MILF-like goodness.

John Ratzenberger (Hoth's Major Derlin): Who? I always watched "Cheers" every week with Cliff Clavin and the gang. Ratzenberger is known now for his voice work in cool films like Toy Story and A Bug's Life.

Christopher Lee (Count Dooku): I've never seen any of Lee's (or Peter Cushing's) horror films, but who could've been a better Saruman the White? The LOTR trilogy is fantastic stuff.

Alec Guinness (Obi-Wan Kenobi): I've seen Bridge on the River Kwai a couple of times. A good show, but it's not one I watch regularly.

Natalie Portman (Padme Amidala): Where the Heart Is is a watchable film. Well worth the time to see this beautiful actress again (along with co-star Ashley Judd).

Ewan MacGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi): Moulin Rouge was such an offbeat film. I didn't want to watch it, but yet I could not look away. It was also worth seeing Kylie Minogue as the Green Fairy.

Liam Neeson (Qui-Gon Jinn): I've never seen Schindler's List... but The Haunting was passable if only for the lovely Catherine Zeta Jones. Gangs of New York was very interesting, although Neeson has only a small role.

Ian McDiarmid (Palpatine): Played a small role in Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow. Hated it at first, but this film has grown on me over the years.

Keira Knightley (Sabe): "Ye best be believin' in ghost stories, Miss Turner, ye be in one." Pirates of the Caribbean, 'nuff said.

Harrison Ford (Han Solo): Had to check IMDb for this unknown.. man what has he done since Star Wars?! Let's see... Indiana Jones & Blade Runner. Also good in Presumed Innocent, The Fugitive (Tommy Lee steals the film), and the supernatural thriller What Lies Beneath.

Keira Knightley (Sabe): Bend it like Beckem.....AHAHH nooo i hated that, but its gotta be Pirates ARRG

Harrison Ford (Han Solo): Indiana Jones, hands down

Harrison F - Indiana Jones, Regarding Henry (), any chase movie like Frantic or anything else.

Mark H - uhhhh, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

Carrie F - The Blues Brothers, Austin Powers, Scream 3

Natalie P - The Professional, Heat, and probably that new movie coming out (Closer) where she plays a stripper

Liam N - Rob Roy, Schindler's List

Ewan M - Moulin Rouge! , Big Fish

Natalie Portman was also the First Daughter in Tim Burtons' Mars Attacks! Campy craptacular send up of 50's sci-fi films. It has it's charms.

Mark Hamill:
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is the best comic book film ever, and Mark Hamill is the Joker. I also loved his self-parodying turns in Comic Book: The Movie and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Harrison Ford:
Out of all the great movies he's done, I think Raiders of the Lost Ark is still my favorite non-SW flick.

Carrie Fisher:
The Blues Brother. No question about it.

Anthony Daniels:
I can't even think of any movies with him, sadly enough.

Kenny Baker:
I'm sure I've seen him in other movies, but none come directly to mind.

James Earl Jones:
Although he's a great actor, I think his second best role is another voice-over: Mufasa from The Lion King. Great movie.

Sir Alec Guiness:
I'm embarassed to admit I don't believe I've seen him in anything else, at least not any movie that I've seen all of.

Peter Cushing:
Here comes the flak, but I loved Top Secret.

Frank Oz:
Fozzie Bear in The Muppets Take Manhattan. Or any of the other Muppet movies. I just happen to like TMTM best of the bunch because of Janis' line: "I don't care if it is artistic, I don't take my clothes off for noooooobody!" Okay, that wasn't Frank, but it makes me laugh.

Billy Dee Williams:
Billy Dee was a million times better as Harvey Dent in Batman than Tommy Lee Jones ever dreamed of being.

Ian McDiarmid:
Sleepy Hollow, though I saw Dragonslayer years and years ago and remember liking it, too.

John Ratzenberger:
Definitely Yeti in Monsters Inc.

Warwick Davis:
Willow. Most other stuff I've seen him in kinda sucks.

Wilfred Brimley:
I believe he's been in quite a few porno flicks, right?

Bea Arthur:
I think she starred with Wilfred.

Jake Lloyd:
Jingle All the Way was good, but I can't think of anything else with him.

Liam Neeson:
Schindler's List or Darkman (how's that for a combo?).

Ewan McGregor:
Big Fish by a long shot.

Natalie Portman:
Probably Heat, though I've never seen The Professional.

Kiera Knightley:
Avast! s of the Caribbean!

Samuel L Jackson:
Jurassic Park, though his role was a smaller one.

Terrence Stamp:
Something I saw years ago; I can't think of the title of it. All I can remember is this one line:
KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!!

Ahmed Best:
Has he been in anything else? No? Okay, we'll move on.

Ray Park:
X-Men. He wasn't an especially accurate Toad, but a great flick.

Hayden Christiansen:
Haven't seen any of his other stuff.

Christopher Lee:
I would say Gremlins 2, but it sucked, so The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

Temeura Morrison:
Say what you will, but The Island of Doctor Moreau ruled!

I really liked him in Willow as well as Val Kilmer (see Top Secret).

Jurassic Park, though his role was a smaller one.

I liked him in Die Hard 3.

He was also the first mate in Speed 2. But seeing how many people actually saw that movie, it's probably a well-kept secret.

I figured I'd take a stab at this as well. Here are the fav's that I can think of:

Carrie Fisher: Blues Brothers, Austin Powers
Harrison Ford: not even worth mentioning them all.
James Earl Jones: Field of Dreams (c'mon people!!!!!), Coming to America
Frank Oz: Trading Places
Christopher Lee: The Man with the Golden Gun (I can't belive no one has mentioned this!!!!)
Kiera Knightly: Pirates of the Carribean
Samuel L. Jackson: similar to Ford, but I have to mention Coming to America. . . possibly the best movie with more than one SW actor in it!!!!!!

That's probably another good question, how many movies are there with more than one SW actor in them. There are probably some English movies, but I don't know of any.

Wasn't the guy who played Ric Olie in Amistad? I saw it once, and seem to remember him being in it.
I'm probably missing a ton, but I just can't remember them now, and I didn't want to repeat too many of the ones listed (Ewan, Liam, Natalie. . . no favorites really.)
