    How did Anakin/Vader learn this trick anyhow. I thought only Yoda and Ben knew how to do this?

    The Audio Commentary for ROTJ seems to indicate that Obi-Wan and Yoda help Anakin keep his idenity and to manifest in the force, instead of becoming one with the force.
