Simpsons Season 5 DVD/Updated with Season 6 info!

Well, it appears that Fox is going to get Season 5 out right before Christmas on December 21st.

Holy Smokes!!! This is going to be Simpsons overload this year. I'm still plugging through the last season as it's a great one but #5 is even better!! Where will I find all the time to digest this?

Oh, red! I like the color, and it will give a nice contrast to Season 4's blue. I'm already thinking about how it'll look on the shelf with the others.

Thanks to a reader at dvdtalk it has been learned that Fox's official tv dvd website has Simpsons Season 6 listed for a June 14 release. Looks like a regular release pattern is finally being established for this series.

Is that still an accurate date, Jaymz ?

I thought I read somewhere that there was a mistake in some release info as in people thinking the Bart Wars release was supposed to be the next season ?

EP, I was browsing dvd talk's forums where I read this original news and it seems the news posted on the FOX website may have been done in error.

They say Season 6 should come out this YEAR . . . but it does not seem that earlier reported date is going to hold true.

EDIT-That was weird, real weird, Caesar.

EDIT 2 (after reading C's post in depth)-It was a mix up on Fox's end. They had on their official TV on DVD website it listed as Season 6. It turns out that the theme episode disc is what will be coming, but they say Season 6 will be this year.

TVShows is now saying the release date for Season 6 is August 16, 2005.
