There are no "set dates" for these as of yet. According to EE.com, the Jedi Force toys, and GH X-Wing, aren't due until January, so they may not turn up in stores until AFTER the X-mas set, sometime in mid-January, after all the Clearance items are gone.

According to one of the past SW Insider magazines, CW wave 3 would be available around that time as well.

As far as the SW E3 goes, this may be just the post-OTC stuff that is showing up on eBay and at online shops, but the $2 jump in price tells me this may be a "SNEAK PREVIEW" wave, like Jango Fett, Zam Wessell, Clone Trooper and R3-T7 were back in January/February 2002.

According to Previews, the E3 figures will have neutral poses, "secret reveals" and added articulation. Hopefully this is enough to justify the price increase.

"Secret Reveals"? That sounds suspiciously like the Spy Troops nonsense that killed off the new GIJoe line.

I'm not thrilled about the price hike. I don't know precisely what the G.I. Joe gimmick was, but I was immediately thinking that this is one of those things where you did the stormtroopers in water and a different camouflage pattern appears on them. I hope its not some lenticular thing that is built into them or something.

I don't understand Hasbro's need to include gimmicks. Just give us more accessories if you want to increase the price, or better articulation or paint deco, something. The only packaging insert gimmick I half liked was the "Force Files" that came with the POTJ line.

Is the $24.99 Luke X-Wing, the same one that was a TRU exclusive a few years ago? I wouldn't mind since I never got one.

I believe it's only for a few characters. Zam's Clawdite mask from the AOTC line is probably the type of "reveal" the figures will have.

There are 2 $24.99 X-Wings with Luke figures.

The first one is for the Galactic Heros line...you can still find the original at Kaybee's...IF you can find a Kaybee that is.

The second one is from the upcoming Jedi Force 6" figure line. There are a limited # of these on eBay right now, that are numbered with certificates, and the proceeds go to a charity I believe.

Maybe the secret reveal is where C-3PO reveals his feelings for R2-D2, Anakin reveals that he is evil to Obi-Wan, Darth Sidious reveals that he is Palpatine, and GL reveals that he will be changing the entire content of the movie when it comes out on DVD.
