12" OTC Figures are clearanced at Target

I went to Target this morning and they had all the 12" OTC figures clearanced at $14.99. I picked up 2 Boba Fetts, 2 Stormtrooper, and 1 Luke Skywalker. I already got me a set before, but I could not pass up on this awesome offer.

Check the Colorado Just found, someone listed a bunch of clearance stuff.

Wow, that awesome. Sadly the local Target here didn't have any of the OTC figures last time I checked. With a deal like this I need to make a trip to a different store....I can't pass up this. Thanks Veers.

The regular OTC figures are still $9.99.

Around here, Target only has Lukes and the clearance price is $20.
I've wanted a 12 inch Boba since I was a kid. The only place I have seen them is TOYS R US and they want $29.99! OUCH!

Check WMs, too. I found the Han/AT-ST at WM for $3 over the weekend.

Also, the prices vary at different Targets. I've seen prices on the 12" VOTC range from $8 to $21.

I picked up a 12" Luke for $14.99 at Target. I wasn't into this figure before, but now that I've bought and opened it, I actually think it's pretty cool!

What's amazing is how different stores clearance their items. None of my Walmarts are clearancing their large figures. But get this, There is one local store with Amidala dolls from Episode one and they are still trying to get $30 for them! I bought the same doll for my daughter clearanced for $4 at another store. Right now, my local walmart has a 1/6th scale tank for $88 on sale (was $150) but the walmart down the street has the same thing for $125 on sale. Go figure.
I think one issue around here is that there are so many collectors that the good stuff never makes it to clearance.
I remember waiting for walmart to clearance the deluxe 12 inch Jango Fetts and the R2D2 robots. Never happened. They were gone before then.
Oh well.

An older WM closed, relocated and reopened as a SuperCenter in the late summer. I thought this WM would finally get rid of the Ep. 1 Wattos that had been occupying the shelves for years. In late November, those blasted figures showed up again, still at regular price.
