Coming Soon: Topps Revenge of the Sith Cards

I got this link to the OS from the latest Delta Source. Looks to be a very eclectic set. Only 51 base story cards with a bunch of other goofy styles mixed in. It's definitely interesting and I'll be collecting the whole set. Hopefully we'll also get a Widevision set down the road as well.

I do like sketch cards but not at the expense of autographs. I'm afraid Topps is taking the wrong path since the AOTC Widevision when it comes to the premiere inserts.

I'll be buying a box...again. I hope this time I'd at least get the base set.

I'm hoping for a WV set, too, Caesar. Maybe later in the year. The AOTC WV set contained too many spoilers. If it were released first (I bought my first AOTC cards on the way home from C2), it would've ruined the movie for too many people.

I was looking at my old SW trading cards, the ones I collected in elementary school. For ANH, there were five different series. For ESB, three, and only 2 for ROTJ, TPM and AOTC. (I'm not counting the 3D TPM cards). That's a lot of cardboard.

A few new tidbits re: Hobby vs. Retail was released the other day.

I don't really have any comments right now, other than it's gonna cost me a few bucks to get that case topper lenticular !
