Playing the Lottery with Star Wars...literally

7-11 stores in Southern California now have STAR WARS SCRATCHERS ( www.calottery.com ). I bought ten $2 tickets and won $23 back + 1 free ticket.

Those are actually a nice looking collectible. I may have to get a fellow Californian to get me some.

They've had signs up for these at most of the food stores I've gone to by my house, Albertsons and Ralphs always have them on top of their machines but never the tickets IN their machines. My mom called me up to tell me how disgusted she was with Lucas for selling out this way, slapping the SW brand on everything, I chuckled and sorta agreed. This one is not too expensive, $6 for the whole set, but how can you buy a ticket and not wonder if you've won? I bought a few Star Trek tix a while back but I scratched them almost immediately.
Darth Vader is becoming the Mickey Mouse of Star Wars.

Kylo Ren - came from Space Brooklyn, although he moved to Space Williamsburg before it was trendy.

The use of a lightsaber does not make one a Jedi, it is the ability to not use it.
