M&M's Promo

Is anyone else out there collecting the M&M's bags? I started by purchasing several bags during MM. I have also picked up some other M&M SW merchandise and was wondering what all they plan on doing. If anyone out there has seen M&M merchandise, please post it here.

So far, I have about ½ of the bags (mostly the larger bags).

I picked up the red & blue lightsabers on the M&M's minis.

I picked up 2 round tins from TRU that have round lenticular cards on them
- Yoda / Grievous
- Anakin / Vader

I started a thread on the M&M Minis tubes the other day: http://forums.sirstevesguide.com/showthread.php?t=27572

And I saw those tins at TRU yesterday, didn't really know what to make of them so I passed. I am pretty sure there were more than 2 covers though, but I didn't pay enough attention to be sure of what.


Just a quick warning, it's entirely possible this thread will end up getting merged into an earlier M&M thread, I am not totally sure but this section's mods will know if it should, so watch for that.

I hope not. Also, the tins have 2 small bags of M&M's in them. 1 Milk Chocolate Plain, 1 Milk Chocolate Peanut. No Star Wars graphics on the wrappers though.

I haven't seen the lightsaber tubes but I did see some M&M Minis SW dispensers at a Kroger grocery store. There were six in all, each with a translucent-colored tube with a SW character topper and two tiny bags of M&M Minis. If I remember correctly, the six are C-3PO, Death Star with TIE, Stormtrooper (Ep.3 Clone), Anakin, Yoda, and R2. The Minis bags have a "Jedi Mix" - either light/dark side colors.

Also, has anyone seen the limited edition Star Wars tin on the M&M's website (www.mms.com)? They want $49.99 for it. What a ripoff. It comes with (4) 8 oz. bags of custom printed M&M's. You have no choice but to buy the custom printed, it is the only way to get the tin. Plus, they charge an additional $8.95 for shipping. Wonder how many of those will sell?

At the Target I work at there was a stack of little forms for the 14oz. bag of MM that says if you purchase 3 bags you can send the proof of purchases in w/ reciepts by mail to recieve a plush toy. I myself have bought a couple bags and plan on getting 6 total so I can get both MM Star Wars plush dolls. They both are the orange MM w/ one dressed as Luke Skywalker w/ blue lightsaber, and the other is dressed as The Emperor. Pretty sweet looking I think and that is why I'm getting both. So drop by your local Target or other places and see if they have these mail in tickets w/ the 14oz. MM bags.

Thanks for the update. Where did they keep the forms at in the store?

at my Target store they have an endcap up by the registers w/ the 14oz. bags on it and the mail-in coupons are hanging from the shelf that the MM's are on. When I can figure it out I will try to post a pic of it.
