AT-RT Prices

I bought mine at Target the other day for $19.99 apiece.

They are listed on walmart.com for $14.96 apiece.

I realize I would have to pay the shipping off the walmart site so it balances out, but the other prices on Wal-Mart stuff match the prices in their retail outlets - so what gives? Is Target just charging $5 more an AT-RT, or is Wal-Mart offering them cheaper on the website?

The Target price is a mistake, the shelf tags show a $15 pricepoint, even TRU is charging $15. I've read other collectors come up with this same issue, they showed them the shelf tag and brought the other sets from that size (Boga, BARC Speeder) which rang up at the lower price and got the AT-RT at the $15 price.

[font=Arial]Houston, Texas here we also had the same price differiential but our problem was walmart had them for 19.99, also target was priced that as well. It was only at TRU was it 14.99. Don't know what gives.[/font]

Yep, JT is right, I bought one at TRU for $14.99.

I got a $5 refund after I noticed the difference on my Target receipt. I just talked to Customer Service and showed them a shelf tag.

Print out the Walmart.com page and ask for price matching.

My Walmart charges $5.88 for basic figures, but I showed them a receipt from another Walmart that charges $5.24 and they matched it.

Two follow-up questions:

1) I already opened one of them. Can I still get a price-match?

2) Do I HAVE to go to the precise Target I bought them at, or can I go to the one which is closer to home?

I'll answer these as best as I can because this happened to me at Wal-Mart during Midnight Madness.

1) I just took back the opened box to Wal-Mart, explained the problem. They went back to the shelf, verified it, and refunded the difference.

2) I would say you'd probably have to go back to the same Target.

If you have a Target receipt, they might not care, but it could also depend on the clerk/manager you deal with.

Thanks, appreciate the update I will try that, seems reasonable, but still kind of an odd problem and why only this piece.
