You just can't get the staff.....

I've just bought a vintage Amanaman, but it looks like the staff has been broken and glued back together - there's an obvious join 2" from the bottom. Can anybody tell me please, if this is how they were made, or do I need to complain?

Re: You just can't get the staff.....

First of all, I've had my Kenner Amanaman since I originally bought it at retail in '85 or '86. So the figure and accessories have been in my collection since then.

From what I can tell, the staff was formed from a single mold, that is, it's all one piece. I don't see any joints anywhere that would imply separately molded pieces that were glued or snapped together at the factory.

Unfortunately, it sounds as if you're right about your staff being broken or cut and then glued back to together.
