The final carded 3 3/4" Infinite Heroes figures turned out pretty nice.

I'll probably just collect the Titans and related characters though.

That packaging is amazingly cool! Still, I would've liked it if the Four Horsemen could've sculpted these ones as well - they look a little soft on the detail. I'm a sucker for the DC Heroes and this scale, so I'm almost certain to collect this line as well.

The dispute over the Superboy character basically began when the rights were granted to Jerry Siegel's wife and daughter. Warner Brothers wanted the rights, but were denied. If memory serves me right, this case basically meant that as of 2004, the Siegels were entitled to the Superboy name and no other entity could use it without their permission. There was actually some debate about whether or not "Smallville" violated those rights.


I think that pretty much sums it up. It is basically more legal mumbo-jumbo and a mess of red tape.

$739 is cheaper than I expected really, but well beyond what I can afford. Still, if I were ever to buy something that expensive for frivolity, that would absolutely be it.

picked up the 4 inch Batman and Joker 2 pack from Target the other day. I think I'm going to pass on getting the playsets but will keep my eyes out for the camo version of the Tumbler since it is a military vehicle and might look good in a GI Joe display, maybe a background vehicle in a Joe motorpool or something.

So, TRU has a deal where if you preorder the "Stealth Launch Batmobile" from them, depositing $5, you get a free Batman mask (which they're selling for $10 separately, and looks REALLY bad). I looked up the vehicle, and it's a major spoiler, one which I had been guessing all along about... well, if I say any more, it'll spoil it. But it looks overpriced at $28 and lame all around, looks kinda fat and the figure is dedicated (sculpted into the vehicle) so it's not even a figure-interacting toy.

Thank you, Sweet Infant 6 pd. 8 ounce Baby Jesus. Found this lil' gem at Meijer while hunting on sunday night. They had the rest of hte wave, including the long hair Aquaman, which i should have picked up and made some $$ from. Gotta pay those bills. hehehehehe
