New Ideas for Original Trilogy Battle packs/Multipacks

Okay, I know I've posted thread like this before and indeed some of hat is posted here may reflect greatly on what has been posted before, but I wanted to offer up the Battle Pack ideas again with new ideas and some refurbished older ideas.

First up:
Yavin Base War room:
General Dodonna
Princess Leia
C-3PO
Commander Vanden Willard
generic rebel communications officer
Accessories: War room table (shows the Death Star Approach), 2 tall consoles (like the one that came with General Riekaan)

Yavin Base Hangar:
hangar shuttle driver
as yet unmade X-wing or Y-wing pilot movie accurate
Luke-in X-wing pilot attire
Han
Chewie
Accessories: Hangar shuttle, 3-4 small containers (as in the ones Han loads up for his reward "payment."), 2 ladders to attach to either X-wing or Y-wing, appropriate blasters

Hoth Base War room:
General Reikaan
Lt. Toryn Farr (female who says "stand by Ion control...fire")
Princess Leia
generic Hoth rebel trooper
generic Hoth rebel officer
Accessories: Computer bank, 2 tall consoles, appropriate blasters

Hoth base Invasion: (decent army building set)
Darth Vader
3 Snowtroopers (preferably new SA)
1 Snowtrooper Officer
Accessories: E-web cannon, appropriate blasters, Vader's lightsaber

Bespin Security: (decent army building set)
Lobot
2 "white" Bespin guard
1 "black" Bespin guard
1 "oriental" Bespin Guard
Accessories: appropriate blasters and other security devices that formercame with the Bespin guard (just in correct color and NOT in the powder puff blue that they originally came in)

Bespin Prisoner patrol: (decent army building set)
Boba Fett
Imperial Officer
3 Stormtroopers
Accessories: Han carbonite, appropriate blasters

Bespin Attempted rescue:
Lando
Leia
R2-D2
Chewbacca
C-3PO
Accessories: appropriate blasters, net for C-3PO, manacles (for Lando), communcation device (the one Lando uses to alert Cloud City of the Imperials take-over)

Jabba's Palace:
Hermi Odle
Yarna
2 Gammorean guards
Bib Fortuna
Accessories: Vibro axes (Gammorean guards), knife (Bib), Jabba's Hooka dias

Jabba's Palace - The Band
ALL the members of the band (not including the dancers).
Accessories: appropriate instruments, Large drum that the Weequay bangs on.

Endor Raid:
Han
Chewie
1 white Endor Rebel trooper (new body)
1 white Endor Rebel trooper (new body)
1 Old man Endor Rebel trooper (new body) (this is the guy who puts on the Biker scout uniform after they capture the scout.)
Accessories: appropriate blasters, backpacks, bowcaster, thermal detonators

Endor bunker defense: (great army building set)
Imperial Officer (black outfit)
Biker Scout
3 Stormtroopers
Accessories: appropriate blasters, speeder bike

Ewok offensive:
Wicket
Chirpa
3 other previously unmade Ewoks
Accessories: spears, bolos, 3 logs (to trip up AT-ST's)

It is of note that some main characters MUST be included with these sets. For one, that's been Hasbro's practice that a known character in a set will help to sell the set, as well as keep production costs down by reusing older molds.

Now I know most of these are sparse on the accessories, so I'm asking that if you have any ideas of what to add for accessories to make note of them here.

Quesion is (for my fellow forumites) of these sets, which ones would you buy (think mostly for the figures, though of course some like the Yavin base ones for the accessories ).

I think there was a thread similar to this a while back, but I am also too lazy to search for it. Those are all great ideas.

I would buy all of them except for "Bespin Attempted rescue" and "Hoth base Invasion" and maybe Jabba's band. I have enough of the main characters from the Rescue. The Hoth Base Invasion is too similar to the battle pack that came out last year, plus, we all know Hasbro won't put a new Snowtrooper in there, just re-use the existing molds. And I'm sick of buying Darth Vaders.

Jabba's Palace would be great. I'd pay $20 just to get Herme and Yarna. In stead of Bib Fortuna, I'd replace him with a Jawa w/ fan and the Ugnaught with Snaggletooth's body (Mr. Daddypants suggested a head swap to make this character from the Palace.)

Bespin Prisoner Patrol better not include that same Boba Fett that they have been putting out since Saga. I hate the action feature. Either the VOTC or 300th Figure Boba Fetts would work.

Hoth Base War room: I can take buying another Reikaan if it means getting Lt. Toryn Farr. Hopefully the will use Derlin's body for the Rebel troops instead of any of the existing hoth rebel bodies (the midget or buff POTF2).

Bespin Security: My question in the Hasbro Q&A about the Black Bespin Guard is one of those that are in limbo.

I would buy it for Willard and the comm officer, but I doubt we would get the accessories and 5 figs. Not much kid appeal.

I would buy it for the driver and unmade pilot. Better play value for kids.

A good set. Not excited about another Reikaan but all battle packs seem to be less value to collectors who already have most single figures. I wouldn't want to see it anytime soon since we just had Derlin and Reikaan and neither flew off the pegs.

I like it. I don't think we could get the Dias and 5 figures especially with most figures being larger figures.

We would have to loose a stormtrooper to get the speederbike but it would be a good set.

I typically don't like the battle pack format since I always wind up rebuying figures that I don't want to get the marginally improved figures or kitbashed figures that I want with occasional army builders as a nice bonus. While I like most of these far better than the pack we have seen from Hasbro I don't think they want to put much money or effort into these sets. Their formula tends to be 5 figures all repack/rehash with mild accesorys. If they do add something like a senate pod they take out a figure to offset. I can't remember the last truely new figure we go in a battle pack. The best things about them have been the pack ins like the senate pod, force field generator, kaadu with feather, and Aura's speeder. Even though I still buy most everything about half of the few things I have past on have been battle packs and with the look of the next set of them that trend will only increase.
