    Air Force One

Excellent movie! I think Harrison Ford embodied the heroic kind of President we'd all like to see.

However, the CGI effects were somewhat weak and fake looking. Still, to me that doesn't detract enough for me to dislike a good story.

Gary Oldman was great - as he often is. THIS is how you play a terrorist bad guy (by way of comparison to a less riveting performance by a baddie in say Passenger 57).

I did not like Glenn Close's hair. She's a good actress (see her as Captain Rawlings on The Shield) but she does not need a girl's girl hairstyle. A straightening iron or a little less perm-wave would have done make-up wonders for her playing the Vice-President.

Anyway, the level of action and the whole "Die Hard in the skies scenerio" was very cool. I'm glad I watched this one.

Ford hasn't always made good movies (though I think either half of them, or a majority of them are). This is one of the good ones, thanks Harry.

By the way, it's great to see him in a pilot's seat any chance a script allows for it.

When I saw this, I wanted to immediately vote for Harrison Ford for President.

    I'm serious.

This movie rocked the house to Hollis, Queens, where it then taught Run-DMC the meaning of Christmas.

I loved the movie's theme song by Nelly.

I saw this in theaters and hated it, flat acting, thin story & characters, awful special effects, just dreadful and much of the audience there seemed to feel the same way. I actually felt better walking out of "Lost in Space" and I hated that thing! (I mention LiS because I saw it in the same theater a year later)
Darth Vader is becoming the Mickey Mouse of Star Wars.

Kylo Ren - came from Space Brooklyn, although he moved to Space Williamsburg before it was trendy.

The use of a lightsaber does not make one a Jedi, it is the ability to not use it.

This movie f'n rocked! The Theme theme was memorable as well. It doesnt use that many FX shots as it mostly takes place on the plane, the final crash could have been better.

Harrison was a great President! Thats the kind of President the USA needs!

Anyways, I liked Glen Close and William H. Macy was great also. Gary Oldman was cruel -excellent bad guy.

Yeah, Oldman and Ford did excellent jobs.

The other effects that were bad were the F-15's flying escort or capture-net around Air Force One. It looked too phony.

Like I said, it doesn't take that much away from me enjoying a great story though.

    You are such a tard.

This was a pretty good movie. I obviously don't know how accurate it is to the real Air Furce One but if that plane can do all of that then the president is safe (fortunately or unfortunately).
    Up, up, and OKAAAAY!!!
