Aerosmith cut a pretty good version of Love Me Two Times, I especially love the rendition they did for Unplugged.

Aerosmith did Unplugged? Was it ever released on CD?
Yo momma. That's right, I said "yo momma".

They did UnPlugged for a TV broadcast, yes, and No it was not released as a CD proper. However if you'd care to hear it, PM me your address and I'll pass it along.

It really is outstanding, Chux will vouch for that. I can't recall the whole track list offhand but it's solid start to finish with some GREAT cuts of Milk Cow Blues, Walkin the Dog, Train Kept a Rollin, and many many more...damn you Rogue 2, now I gotta go get it and play it again.

It was around 1990 or so, right after Pump was released (Monkey on My Back was on that setlist so I know it was right after Pump came out).

I got about half on a bootleg, then found out from Caesar there was another half that didn't air. Thanks to good ol' Caesar, I have the rest now. And it is fabulous. It's a crime it was never officially released.
    Tommy, close your eyes.

It's my fave live Aero album, and believe us there've been a handful of official live ones released over the years.

Anyway, back to The Doors..."I am the Lizard King, I can do anything. You're all a bunch of f***in' slaves."

    There we go.

I believe he also said that with "idiots" in place of "slaves". I like that rendition better.

The Doors movie turned me off on the Doors for quite some time. It was just out there.

Actually, after seeing that film, I almost wished I could get up on stage and act like that. In the beginning, he kind of had stage fright and stood with his back to the audience. Later on he is doing all kinds of crazy stuff and telling the audience they are all a bunch of f***ing idiots.
