    R4-M6 - Why a "bad" mini fig?

All of the Mace droids at my Wal-Mart have a bad guy mini figure. What is the reason for this. Is it an error that will most likely not be corrected? Or is there an actual reason behind this?

I didn't know that good guy figures were supposed to come with good guy mini-figs. But I just toss all the mini-figs in the trash anyway, so I don't really pay attention.

Yes, good guys come with good holos and vice versa.

As for Mace's droid, he was reprogramed by a special unit of clonetroopers just after order 66 was given and before the invasion of the jedi temple. He mananged to get Mace's fighter going and, using the fighters blasters, annhilated over 2 dozen Jedi running toward their fighters to escape the incoming clones and Vader.

    Okay, I made that up.

Hasbro probably just got the communication screwed up at some point. Rather than packing the Black astromech with bad guy holos and the purple astromech with good guy holos, the factory in China probably just packed them all with bad guy. Since I don't know the mandarin words for "purple," "black," or "astromech," I'm willing to let this one slide.

My guess then, is that since we're nearing the end of the Saga 2 collection and Hasbro likely has a huge backstock of mini-figs, then they're just cramming whatever they can find in the cards without any care of matching good guys to good guys or vice versa.

This could also be the reason for nearly every figure in this wave has the wrong movie on the base.

Yep, the end of the run is near so it's time to just throw whatever's lying around into the packages and ship them out. Quality be damned. Big surprise.

Wow, I didn't know about the WM wave "bad" holos. I got an ESB stand with wave 9 Frankenpadme yesterday though. They're really phoning it in with these last 3 waves!
