WM also had a licensed Transformers watch of Optimus Prime, it's like those old Kronoform watches from the '80s where the face of the watch pops off the band and becomes a simple robot. I was VERY tempted to buy OP in this style, but held back due to finances and pretending to be an adult.

You misunderstand, I'm not embarrassed about buying the watch, I'm trying to be more responsible in not buying stuff I'm not really going to use. I haven't worn a wristwatch in over a decade, I'm certainly not going to start with an Optimus Prime one.

The San Gabriel Valley bender struck at West Covina Target on TVC Phantom Menace figures. The cards weren't too bad, so I was able to pick up a Quinlan Vos, Naboo guy, Qui Gon, and Obi Wan. I can always replace these if I find them again. The bender (or benders) have previously struck at Pico WM, where thanks to them I found a Marvel Legends-ish Loki.

Those benders incense me -- someone should put them in a lock, take their hand and fingers and bend them the wrong way. Heck - break their fingers. Or take them to that place in Casino where Robert DeNiro took care of the cheaters. Cattle prod & hammer style. &*^$%^& *(^&*^s!!!!

Culver TRU had remnants of the TPM Vintage wave at $10 a pop: Queen Manface, Battle Droid, Qui-Gon, and Obi-Wan. As I had expiring $2 and $4 rewards coupons, I bought the Battle Droid.

The store also had multiple walking cannon vehicles but at $28 each, no thanks; and the front promo section was Star Wars with the new movie heroes and new Clone Wars (no new CW figures though), each a whopping $10 so they are crazy. There was also the new mediocre battle packs, the new movie-figure Class 1 fleet vehicles, Titanium Series 3packs, and those little eraser-like multipacks which are destined for the liquidation stores just based on the fact that none of those have caught on in other brands so far.


La Cienega TRU had none of that stuff. No TF Prime at either store.

Ah, yes, I had forgotten about that, but they did, I held it in my hand for a moment, they had 2 or 3. It's not a bad set for newcomers, but for the rest of us who have been in the game long enough to have all these guys, it's just a box of flags.
