Hi all, Sorry if this is a really common (and stupid) question, but sorting through my parents' house revealed pretty much my entire toy collection as a child. (We were encouraged to be very neat and tidy children and most of the toys include the original box, accessories, and look as though they have never been played with.)
I've already found auction houses for some of the other things, but I'm hesitant to just dump all the Star Wars toys on a general auction house. I've been thumbing though price guides and it seems that some of my items have some actual value. I probably won't part with the small action figures, because those are easy enough to display at home, and those are the things I remember playing with and enjoying the most.
But for the stuff that doesn't really have sentimental value -- is there still enough interest in these toys to worry about trying to sell them in a specialist sale? I know people buy and sell these every day, but if I'm only looking at a couple of thousand dollars for everything, it's probably going to be more fun for me to just have the things in my home than have the money in the bank. Does that make sense?
I'm actually not sure what I'm asking here... Anyone else been in a similar situation?
Thank you for your help!
