Ways AOTC mirrors ESB

I have thought of many ways in which Attack of the Clones mirrors The Empire Strikes Back. I decided I would share them.

Obi Wan Kenobi hangs from the bottom of the Kamino platform, almost falling.
Luke hangs from the bottom of Bespin on the weather vane, almost falling.

Kenobi hides from Slave One on the back of an asteroid.
Solo hides on the back of a Star Destroyer.

Anakin kisses Padme and she becomes unsure about the kiss.
Han kisses Leia and she walks away after C-3PO shows up (unsure).

Anakin has nightmares about his mother's fate.
Luke has a "bad vision" about his friends fate.

Anakin is told to stay on Tatooine but leaves anyway.
Luke is told to stay on Dagobah but leaves anyway.

Anakin leaves Tatooine to help his friend Kenobi.
Luke leaves Dagobah to help his friends Leia, Chewie, and Han.

Anakin gets his right arm cut off.
Luke gets his right hand cut off.

Anakin faces a more powerful sith Dooku.
Luke faces a more powerful sith Vader.

Kenobi is captured on Geonosis...later Padme and Anakin are captured.
Han, Leia and Chewie are captured on Bespin.

An "old friend" Dooku betrays Kenobi.
An "old friend" Lando betrays Han.

Anakin and Padme later profess their love for each other after the first kiss.
Han and Leia later profess their love for each other after the first kiss.

R2-D2 pulls C-3P0's head behind him.
R2-D2 pulls C-3PO's parts behind him.

R2-D2 welds C-3PO's head back on.
R2-D2 welds C-3PO back together.

AOTC ends with Anakin, Padme, C3PO, and R2-D2.
ESB ends with Luke, Leia, C3PO, and R2-D2.

Kamino is brightly lit and sterile looking.
Cloud City is brightly lit and sterile looking.

Anakin goes against his master's orders to rescue him.
Luke goes against his master's orders to rescue his friends.

Dashing lady-killer Kit Fisto saves C-3PO from certain doom.
Dashing lady-killer Lando Calrissian saves the Rebels from certain doom.

As Dooku approaches the warehouse district, music that sounds more Elfman than Williams plays.
As the Rebel Fleet assembles and Lando leaves, music that sounds more Elfman than Williams plays.

The bad guy reveals to Obi-Wan that he is his master's master.
The bad guy reveals to Luke that he is his father.

An armor clad bounty hunter named Jango Fett is one of the chief villains.
An armor clad bounty hunter named Boba Fett is one of the chief villains.

Unassuming Yoda demonstrates his mastery of the Force by ripping Dooku a new one.
Unassuming Yoda demonstrates his mastery of the Force by levitating an entire starship.

As Zam Wessel sneaks up on Obi-Wan, she finds herself armless.
As the Wampa sneaks up on Luke, it finds itself armless.

Neither one has a space battle but are both the only ones to have an asteriod chase.

Anakin cuts off Tuskens head, cut to Yoda, Qui-Gon's voice, and Vader's breathing.
Luke chops off pseudo-Vader's head-reveals Luke's face-both are very symbolic and are the most debated scenes in Star Wars history.

There is a very long land battle sequence that involves machines and people. Don't forget the AT-TE
AT-AT and of course a land battle with people and vehicles that is rather large.

Obi-Wan is in electric field thing.
Han is in carbonite.

AOTC made a bunch of money.

The big bug things on Naboo are called Shaaks. I'm sure Shaak Ti has been tempted to strike down several people for that.
