May the force be with you.
Glad to see your back IJG. Congratulations on graduating college. As a young man, I damaged a few cars in my time, as long as you are alright, that's what counts. Cars can be replaced, lives cannot always be fixed as easily.

Be an organ donor, save lives!
I had some epiphanies today. Oh, and ba-bump. :shovel:
Since a door is a form of threshold, here's what I've learned about doors in my life:
- Doesn't do well to just expect that since a bathroom stall door isn't locked that's there no person in there. So I have learned to ALWAYS tap and open any such door slooooowly.
- Good idea to step away from a door, where you can't tell if someone will be coming from the other side, when you try to open it.
- Like a phone, you don't have to answer it immediately. Sometimes, like a wrong number or back-in-the-day prank calls, it's just someone trying to make noise or rile you up.
- Be careful how you open car doors, and don't expect them to stay open all the time, especially when parked on a slope. Your shoulders and shirt sleeves will thank you.
I predict that the upcoming Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi film will include the word "and." Multiple times.
Also, about bathroom doors. People tend to freak out if you kick one open and point a camera in their face, regardless of whether you take a photo or not.
