Upon leaving the Earth Day celebration today, I was asked what time it was. And this blurry photo of my Pittsburgh Penguins watch proves the 11:38am time.

"May the 4th be with you?" "Why yes, thank you for asking."

Yesterday, a student asked for a pass to leave the classroom, and I noticed it was 22 minutes to noon. Then, when checking school email, a notice about events next week was received at 11:38am. Nice!

My wife was up earlier this morning, went back to bed and now woke up again. Time? 11:38.

I had several close calls with the vaunted numeral on my recent vacation, but the only "legit" ones were a few building addresses (lame), the e-reader showing I was on page 11 of 38 in a short story (semi-lame), and the code number on an elevator I took in the hotel (decently acceptable).

    "We named the dog 'Chewbacca'!"
The use of a lightsaber does not make one a Jedi, it is the ability to not use it.

I noticed the first of these in the Olympics: 4th place in a women's 100m heat was in 11:38 seconds. Still trying to see who's athlete #1138.

Do they even have numbers? They all just have names on the bib now.

On the back of track & field athletes, there are 3 or 4 digit number tags. Problem is, you seldom see them from behind. Closest I've noticed is either 1338 or 1108, IIRC.

Still no Olympic athlete #1138 so far.
But my purchase at Target today was exactly $11 before my coupon, with $.38 in tax charged.
