So...Gentle Giant is producing a bust of Anakin Skywalker ala ROTS in a dramatic pose as he appears prior to lopping off a certain Sith Lord's head and....it's a SDCC exclusive! WTF?!?!
The central character to the prequels as an exclusive?
Bad enough when last year they took the popular clone commanders and made them their "World Tour" exclusives, making it near impossible to obtain them all without parting with a substantial wad of green (I only scored 2 of them) and now this...
Oh well...

It's a well done bust, but if I miss it, oh well. I do want it, but I'm not going through the same carp as I did with the clone commanders, for this Anakin bust.

It looks great, but I dont agree with making it an Exclusive. If I can get one I will but wont loose any sleep over it.

Aaaarrrrggghhh! Thanks to SirSteve's terrific shots from NYCC...I'm even more peeved that this bust is an exclusive. It looks like some tweaking was done with the head sculpt since TF in January, giving him a more suitable intensity while welding those sabers. It looks great. Oh well...since SDCC is out of the question for me this year, I'll look forward to more shots of this to admire here later in the summer...
