I paid $2.69 at Costco the other day, but I only had $10+ on my prepaid card. I haven't seen below $2.81 around town, though.

After my less-than fill-up and a back-and-forth LA trip yesterday, we'll see what the damage is today. Since Costco's the cheapest place, I predict the amount will be bulk sized.

The station down by the main intersection by my house has had a steady (read: everyday) increase and is now up to $2.95. Like anyone would want to buy a new car now; instead of savings bonds, buy your kids a bus pass.

$2.89 is the best I can do right now without a far run or a heavy hunt.
At least my car is doing great on mileage, the drive down to San Diego and back was on a single tank and got 29.93 mpg, the car's EPA estimate was 28 hwy and it's a 16-year-old car.Darth Vader is becoming the Mickey Mouse of Star Wars.
