I would walk down the street to the station with a buck in my pocket to almost fill up more than half of my gallon can to fuel my lawnmower to cut the grass. There's very little still current about that statement anymore.

Within the last week: my own car? $3.35 at an ARCO. My mom's (she wanted a close station over price)? $3.51 at the grocery pumps.

It's difficult thinking about returning to SoCal after enjoying sub-three dollars per gallon gas prices here in OK. Relocation is looking better and better the more we spend time here....

Bring some back in your luggage; send some via DHL; download the Gas Transporter app.; rent and tow a car with a huge tank just to transport some gallons; carry it in baggies in your pockets and car's cupholders. It'd all pay for your trip, I'm sure.

I got Costco today at $3.52. Quite a few drivers in line there. It's no less (aside from occasional ARCOs) than $3.72 elsewhere here.

On 12/30 I got gas at Fred Meyer for the first time. It was $3.249, but I was able to get it for $3.049 due to my rewards card. I have passed on going there in the past because there always seems to be such a line.
