    Ouch!

Something caught my attention out of the East windows of my office at work today.

Photo 1: The view from my office over to the other set of offices of our unit.
Photo 2: The image on the window to the right of the door.
Photo 3: Ouch! Another bird strike! For whatever reason, our windows are a magnet for birds...or....we have a species of Kamikaze birds in our area.

I had one of those green slow-flying beetles almost run into my car window today. I got my window up in time, but it veered off and almost smacked into a large truck on the other side of the street. For having great vision and multiple eyes, birds and bugs aren't the wisest soarers (sorers?) sometimes.

Rahm Emmanuel is naked outside my window, covered in warpaint and making obscene gestures. Please make the bad man stop, Mommy. Please, please, please.
    Tommy, close your eyes.

"To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence… When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." - C.S. Lewis

ID:	24497 It shows my picnic table and my fire pit both covered in snow. This was taken Wednesday morning after much of the country was either snowed on, or had freezing rain.

The view out my window at work today necessitated a closer look. Looks like colleagues "down south" (as we call it) came to train with our land sharks.

I didn't see Eddie anywhere, though.

About 5 minutes after snapping this pic, the fog just rolled in. Where else can you have oranges and lemons growing, with a dusting of snow-capped foothills behind the waterlogged backyard sun shade (that's down for the wind-ter season).
